Gluten free banana muffins

1 1/2 cups gluten free flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp baking soda 3 medium ripe bananas 1 egg 1/3 cup oil of choice 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp salt Crumb topping 1 tbsp of butter or ghee 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp flour 1/3 cup coconut sugar In one bowl combine sugar, egg, oil and vanilla, mix well.  In another bowl combine the rest of the dry ingredients. Bone Broth

I have really been experimenting with different bone broth recipes, to try and achieve a rich flavour for soups and stews.  This is what I have come up with: 2-3 Chicken carcasses 2-3 Tbsp tumeric powder 2-3 Tbsp onion powder 2 Tbsp garlic powder 3 Tbsp dried parsley 4 carrots roughly chopped 1 large sweet onion 4 stalks of celery roughly chopped 4-5 minced garlic cloves 3 bay leaves sea salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup vinegar Place all ingredients into your stock potContinue Reading

Basic Roast Chicken

When cooking a whole chicken or turkey, I can not stress enough the difference a digital meat thermometer makes! It completely takes the guess work out of when it is cooked and prevents over cooking and drying the meat out. I bought mine at Superstore for $24 and it has been worth every penny.
