Our organically raised chickens are fed a blend of organic sprouted and fermented grain. They are moved daily to fresh green pasture. Raised seasonally from mid-May until October.
The price of the chicken is based on $7.00 per pound. Actual weight and price will be calculated at the time of pick up, reserving your quantity is what matters. Prices listed here are the maximum prices based on the size of chicken you have chosen. Your deposit will hold the chicken for pick up which is when the balance is due. Thanks!

Our chickens are raised on certified organic grain and fresh untreated drinking water. We move our birds twice daily to ensure they are raised on the freshest pasture available. Here at Sage Creek Permaculture we have been inspired by Joel Salatin and have adopted many of his methods in raising our chickens.

Wow, could not believe how wonderful the chicken was. Roasted it and served to 6 guests. Everyone raved about juiciness and wonderful white flesh. Made stock with leftovers and the taste was so,so fresh. Highly recommend!
